The interpreter is there to facilitate the conversation. Speak directly to the person you\u2019re meeting with. This is a more personable approach that allows you to develop a connection with the person. This also allows for a more productive and effective meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speak in the 1st Person<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Even though what you\u2019re saying is being relayed through a third party, it is best to speak as if you\u2019re directly relating to the person and not the interpreter.
